The Sword of Honour and Globe of Honour were awarded to DAEP for its outstanding commitment to health, safety and environment
Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) President His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Executive Chairman His Excellency Khalifa Al Zaffin and CEO Ms. Suzanne Al Anani were delighted to be presented with the British Safety Council Sword of Honor and Globe of Honor awards for their achievements in health, safety and environmental in 2018. DAEP Senior Director of Health, Safety, Security and Environment Mohamed Chahwan presented the awards to the leadership.
The Sword of Honor is awarded for outstanding commitment and achievements in health and safety, while the Globe of Honor is awarded for outstanding performance in the environmental field. Both awards are given to a small number of organisations each year by the British Safety Council. Only organisations who achieved top marks in the British Safety Council's annual five star health, safety, and environmental audit, which DAEP has achieved for two consecutive years, are eligible for the awards.
The British Safety Council is a global health and safety organisation and offers a range of services and products, including training, classifications, publications, audits and awards. The British Safety Council works closely with organisations, charities and individuals who share its vision to ensure that staff are kept healthy and safe in the workplace as well as at home.
