Installation of Health Protection Barriers at Dubai International Airport

In light of the current conditions of the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) around the world, and pursuant to the directions of our wise leaders and the instructions of UAE health authorities, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) has initiated a project to install Protection Barriers on all passenger services counters across Dubai International Airport.

H.E. Eng. Suzanne Al-Anani, CEO of DAEP, explained that “this project aims to achieve the utmost level of physical distancing between passengers and airport operation staff to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.”

H.E. also added that “DAEP has successfully completed the first phase in a record time, as more than 150 Protection Barriers have been installed, and work is currently underway to install the rest in the remaining facilities exceeding the 300 barriers.”
